HISTORY
L'Anse Noire Moravian School is a Government assisted school managed by the Moravian Church in Trinidad. It is situated along the Paria Main Road on the North Eastern Coast overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Our school is set in attractive, spacious grounds, features of which are the well maintained garden.
In 1905, a new mission was started by the Moravians at L'Anse Noire. The members strove to erect a building to serve the dual purpose of a sanctuary and a school. On Monday 21st September, 1908 the L'Anse Noire Moravian School opened its doors to the village of L'Anse Noire.
In 1988, the present barn type building was erected under an IADB loan to accommodate one hundred and forty (140) students. To date, the school has a population of 37 students.
